The CPM program far exceeded my expectations. It provides a fresh, new approach to learning; the program administrator has been phenomenal; and the class instructors have brought a new way of learning to many different subjects. One of the greatest takeaways from this experience with the program is certain tweaks to my management style and an implementation of various procedures that have enhanced operational efficiencies for Goodlettsville. I expect that I will be implementing other operational procedures in early 2019.

The Online Fundamentals in Management Courses have been beneficial by helping me recognize situations that I had not seen before in the workplace. The program has helped me solve situations by using different methods of problem solving. It has also shown me ways to motivate myself and coworkers to be more efficient. The courses are so informative pertaining to productivity, individuality and helping the people we serve.

Studying at The Naifeh Center for Effective Leadership has been the pinnacle of my leadership journey so far. In 2018 I was awarded the opportunity to attend the Tennessee Government Executive Institute. The Naifeh Center hosted and instructed my cohort. Over the two weeks spent at the Center, my classmates and I were immersed in a culture of true servant leadership as well as given insights and instruction by some of the top mentors in their respective fields. This opportunity changed my capacity for leadership and set me of a much more abundant and fruitful path of service for the rest of my career.

The major strength of the Naifeh Center is its staff. From the beginning sessions they created an air of inclusion and comradery that pervaded the rest of our time there. The members of our cohort became not only classmates, but friends and colleagues, and I give the credit for that success to the Naifeh Center and its exemplary staff.  In 2019 I was allotted another opportunity to be a part of the leadership culture at the Naifeh Center by attending their first Tennessee Certified Managers Program in Nashville, Tennessee. I am excited about this new opportunity and the growth I feel certain I will gain from this experience.
